(Sample I.D. + DL Link) Ramsey Lewis – “My Love For You” as sampled in Musiq Soulchild’s “The Girl Next Door”

I was digging through my sample library today, when a particular song caught my ear.  After re-listening a few times, I realized it was the sample used in Musiq Soulchild’s “The Girl Next Door”.  I always thought that was an original beat, so it kind of threw me off at first, haha.

I don’t plan to use this sample, so I want to pass along my find to any of you Hip Hop heads/producers who are interested.

[VIDEO] Hip Hop Beat Making using Ableton Live, MPK 49, & MPD 32 (prod. by TCustomz)

So I just finished this beat making video for my newest beat, “In My Groove”.  I would describe this one as an M-Phazes style track – very soulful with hard hitting drums, but also has atmospheric and jazzy elements to it as well.

This was my first attempt at any real video editing, so keep that in mind.
